I found this incredible story through Philip Beard's website after spending a (thank you dear Neuf for free unlimited calls to landlines in Europe) couple of hours on the phone with a friend telling her that I was in the worst stage a writer can be in; the "I haven't written anything but paragraphs" stage.

It's an incredible story, inspiring even. So inspiring that I went to amazon straight away and ordered it. I had to know what the book was that brought about this story.
But now I have to wait five whole days (it takes longer to ship books in English in France, dammit). So I suppose meanwhile I will cozy up to 1984 again. Instant gratification be damned.
