Once upon a time I was lucky enough to have a professional webmaster for my blog and all I had to do was type and hit publish post, but now that I'm doing everything on my own this ol' dog has had to learn a few new tricks.
I've already posted about how I got snippets of my post to work in Blogger, but after reading some blogs I found myself terribly envious of people who have those nifty recommendations at the bottom of their posts. After a quick Google search I found the right widget at LinkWithin.
Follow the simple steps, and within a few minutes you will see the thumbnails and posts appear under your blog posts and no longer have to be envious.
Keep in mind it's specifically for thumbnails, which means I'll need to add more images to my posts, which has been something I've been planning to do. In the meantime sorry for the repetitve recommendations, I am going to be working on this most of the day, so hopefully by tomorrow it will work flawlessly. If you're looking for a text only version, I didn't find much when I looked, but maybe this will help.
On a separate note, I'm very against advertising on blogs, so don't worry that my improvements will include adding advertisements. There is nothing worse to me than trying to read a blog and all these animated gifs and things keep going off. I write my blog for pleasure and not profit so any updates will be simply to make my blog more enjoyable for readers and not less!
